About Me

Hello and welcome!

I’m thrilled you’ve stopped by to learn more about my journey. Born in the serene town of Palakkad, Kerala, and raised in the cultural cradle and bustling city of Kolkata, West Bengal, my life has been a beautiful blend of tranquility and vibrancy. This cultural fusion sparked my love for the arts, leading me down a fascinating path where dance and theatre became my first languages.

At 17, fresh out of high school, I embarked on my academic journey in Mass Media and Mass Communication at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, India. This laid the foundation for my career in the dynamic world of media and entertainment.

In 2004, my professional journey began in the city of dreams, Mumbai, as an assistant producer. I had the privilege of producing India’s first dance reality show for Sony Television, marking the beginning of my diverse career. Over time, I’ve written, produced, and directed a wide variety of cross-screen content, carving out my niche in the factual entertainment space. My work on popular shows like Koffee with Karan for Star World, MAD and FAQ on POGO, and Style and the City for FOXLife has garnered a loyal fanbase.

My commitment to excellence and drive saw me become the youngest nominee for the Harvard Leadership Program during my tenure at HCL Technologies. My career has taken me from directing docu-dramas for the BBC to producing acclaimed shows for Discovery Channel and AXN. My executive-produced documentaries for National Geographic Channel have been decorated with accolades at the Indian Telly Awards, BrandVid Awards, and Asian Television Awards. Since 2018, I’ve been residing in Singapore, focusing on producing unscripted and factual entertainment shows catering to Southeast Asian audiences. As a Senior Producer at The Walt Disney Company, I have been fortunate to collaborate with leading brands, crafting captivating branded short-form digital content for National Geographic.

Yet, my journey extends beyond my professional life. From my early days, I’ve been deeply committed to social and environmental causes. As a student, I tutored underprivileged children, conducted newspaper and clothing drives, and took part in tree plantation activities. I volunteered with a Delhi-based NGO for two years, teaching English to disadvantaged children, and have been working towards poverty alleviation with a Singapore-based NGO for over three years now.

As I prepare to call Australia, my new home, I look forward to the opportunities and adventures that await me. Whether you’re a potential employer or collaborator, I hope this glimpse into my journey resonates with you. I’m not only passionate about creating engaging content but also about making a meaningful impact in the world.
